Nodal Reliability Performance Monitoring and Reporting Measure Training Session II

Texas Reliability Entity (Texas RE) hosts the Nodal Reliability Performance Monitoring and Reporting Measures Training Session II. This is the second of three training sessions covering reliability performance monitoring before the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Texas Nodal Market Go-Live date on December 1, 2010.

This second of three workshops has two general objectives: (1) identify and describe the performance monitoring requirements listed in Nodal Protocol Section 8 for ERCOT, Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) and Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs); and (2) link each performance monitoring requirement to its corresponding reporting & monitoring program listed in Nodal Operating Guide Section 9 .  The third workshop, scheduled for November 9, 2010, is planned to provide a final summary of Nodal reliability performance monitoring requirements, metrics and reports as they will apply at the start of the Nodal market.  The ultimate goal is to provide overview of the scope of ERCOT Nodal Protocol Section 8 and ERCOT Nodal Operating Guide Section 9 requirements.
